About the Newman Center

We are a people who worship, pray, and serve together – heralding the presence of the Risen Christ in the world. The Center is also a building – of worship, of fellowship, of comfort, of questioning.

We believe that there is more to life than meets the eye – that there is an Ultimate Mystery beyond all existence, who embraces us and draws us out of the mires of human selfishness and misery into abundant life in Christ, who is the absolute Mystery in human form, and who teaches us what it means to be fully and abundantly human.

We welcome all who seek truth; who seek peace; who seek comfort; who seek direction; who seek life. Worship with us, pray with us, serve with us, socialize with us. Stop by the Center anytime (well, see the weekly building hours posted below), by yourself or with friends, to talk, to pray, to watch movies and eat popcorn.

Eucharist is celebrated every Sunday at 8:30pm during the semester.

Summer Hours

The Newman Center operates for reduced, irregular hours during Summer Break.
Please call or email to contact us. (Contact info is to the right.)

We will return to our regular schedule on the day before classes begin, Sun 23 Aug (Mass at 8:30pm).
